Your will be secured with screened sand between the fiberglass shell and the ground. This will act as an absorber when the ground does move, protecting your from any movement or cracking.

The other guy's pool is sprayed against the ground (gunite). When the ground shifts, which it will, the pool cracks.

Water Quality

Fiberglass surface does not alter water's chemical balance and uses fewer chemicals.

Plaster reacts with water to raise pH levels. Uses substantially more acid & chlorine to counterbalance this chemical reaction.

Aesthetics

Smooth, non-abrasive to skin or swim suits, walking and seating areas are textured for slip resistance.

Rough, causes skin abrasions to feet, hands and swim wear.
